I finally got around to buying the tickets for Guys and Dolls, which I been planning on going for ever since it was publicized last year. Will be going with the boyfriend and the Ng twins. We bought tickets for next Wednesday night, and the reviews have been good, so that’s something to look forward to! Plus, it’s the first musical I’m attending this year (about time!) – which reminds me, I have to book tickets for Wicked soon.
It’s the final week of the semester, and I still have around three classes left over the next two final days of this semester. Need to start studying next week onwards, or I’m going to die for my politics exam. There’s also my final music essay I need to start researching on, or I’m going to die as well. And I need to REALLY plan my time to practice everyday for my practical exams. Or I’m going to die.
In other words, I need to stop procrastinating.
I’m starting to get the hang of using WordPress. I think it actually beats Blogger anyday – it’s not as user-friendly or straight-forward, but it just seems more sophisticated and ‘easier’. It’s just like how I’m loving my MacBook now. Learning curve is comparatively steeper, I suppose, but once you get the hang of it, it just comes second nature to you. I don’t have anything against Windows, it’s definitely still more convenient than Apple, but I think it’s just that once you make that switch, you’re sold. I know I am.
My old laptop is confirmed condemned and I think I should just dump it somewhere. After its final breakdown about two months ago, I haven’t switched it on since then, and that’s when I probably made my final and once-and-for-all transition to my MacBook; out of curiosity, I switched it on last night. It sputtered to life, gave a few pathetic beeps and the screen remained blank. I think the problem’s with the hard disk. Lesson learned: Never buy Acer laptops! (Sorry to all Acer laptop owners! Lol.)
Looking forward to going back in July to be with you all (here is where I apologize profusely to the boyfriend again for purportedly abandoning him in cold, chilly Melbourne – you know I don’t mean to! :p )! Can’t wait to catch up with you all and see you all then
